Twiggy, HSN Team for Lifestyle Brand

Iconic supermodel Twiggy is launching an apparel and accessories line called “Twiggy London” next month on HSN.
Set to debut April 3 on the shopping network, the collection will have a “London chic” aesthetic, encompassing blouses, jackets and bold handbags, according to the press release.
“I am excited to partner exclusively with HSN and draw on the network’s expertise in building brands,” the model says in a statement. “This collection will be my first launch in the US.

Twiggy Calls Designers Who Use Real Fur ‘Intolerably Cruel’

Some people aren’t so thrilled with fur making a comeback, including Twiggy, who has called designers’ actions “intolerably cruel,” the Daily Mail UK reports.
She said, “I am very sad that some designers are still using real fur when the fake alternatives are so effective and so easily obtainable,” and pointed to a new report from Animal Defenders International (ADI) that details “horrific conditions” at fur farms.

Sienna loved the show, saying, “I think it’s really exciting, because he’s totally evolved. The last couple of seasons he’s been heading in a totally new direction and I think this is cementing it!”

Dannii Minogue to join Twiggy as a new face of Marks & Spencer

The Australian-born singer, X Factor judge and sister of Kylie, Dannii Minogue, who is expecting her first child, heads the roll-call of new celebrities who will create the spring 2010 fashion image for Marks & Spencer.
Dannii will be joined by the singer-songwriter V V Brown, renowned or her 21st century spin on vintage; Lisa Snowdon, the co-host of Capital Radio’s breakfast show and ex-Strictly Come Dancing finalist; and the ‘Brazilian Bombshell’, the model, Ana Beatriz Barros, a star of the 2009 Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
