Klein’s Owner Buys Tommy Hilfiger

New owner Phillips-Van Heusen reportedly hopes to take advantage of Hilfiger’s strong European distribution network for its own products.
Leading UK private equity group Apax Partners purchased Hilfiger in 2006 for £1.1bn and has since boosted revenues, increased the brand’s global presence and lowered its debts, it said.
Mr Hilfiger no longer has a management role at the firm that bears his name but he is still a principal designer and a public face for the fashion label.
Milla Jovovich Presents Tommy Hilfiger Limited Edition Bag

Milla Jovovich debuted the new limited-edition Tommy Hilfiger bag she designed to benefit breast cancer awareness.
The model-actress also serves as ambassador for Hilfiger’s initiative with Breast Health International, the organization that benefits from the bag’s sales. “It’s an honor to be part of this campaign,” Jovovich said in a statement. “I hope that together we can change the life of thousands of people who are affected by this horrible disease.”
