Sarah Jessica Parker to help honour Alexander McQueen at the CFDA fashion awards

Sarah Jessica Parker will present the posthumous Special Tribute Award to Alexander McQueen at the Council of Fashion Designers America (CFDA) Awards on June 7.
The ‘Sex and the City 2′ actress will award the prize to the British designer – who committed suicide in February – as a special tribute to his work. The pair famously walked the red carpet together at the Costume Institute Gala in 2006 in matching tartan outfits.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York has tapped Sarah Jessica Parker for a new project.
According to WWD, the museum has asked the Sex And The City star to record an audio guide for its Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit.
The theme of this year’s exhibition is American Woman: Fashioning A National Identity.
