Robert Pattinson Says No To Burberry

Robert Pattinson has said no to the offer of a £1 million contact to model for Burberry, according to reports.

Pattinson refused the deal because he does not want anything to distract him from his most important job – acting. “I’m an actor, not a model,” he flatly told to the up-scale brand.

A source said, “Christopher Bailey and the Burberry team were desperate to sign Robert as the main person in their new campaign. It would grace all their stores worldwide and be in all the best publications. They went to Robert but he immediately, politely, turned them down. As far as Robert sees things he’s an actor by trade and that’s his art. He doesn’t want to start becoming a brand or anything.”

Robert Pattinson Inspiration For Marks & Spencer Underwear Line

Robert Pattinson has been named by Marks & Spencer as the inspiration for their new line of men’s underwear. The British department store is set to launch its slim-fit “R-Pant” collection in the fall.

The range of low rise briefs and trunks are designed to be worn under skinny fit jeans and trousers, a look popularised by celebrities like Russell Brand and Mark Ronson who have also been named as inspirations for the design.

“Over the last three years we’ve seen an increase in the popularity of hipsters. The new range is designed to appeal to a younger, fashion-savvy customer,” stated Richard Beale, head of merchandising at M&S.

Pattinson will not star in an advertising campaign for M&S.

Pattinson’s Clothes To Be Sold For Charity

Robert Pattinson fans will be able to get their hands on costumes the heartthrob wore in his latest movie as the star is auctioning them off for charity.

Robert Pattinson is auctioning some of his movie costumes for charity.

The actor has donated outfits from his latest movie ‘Remember Me’ including a blue Prada suit, slip-on Birkenstocks, and an off-white LNA T-shirt for an online sale, which will raise money for the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF).

Fans can start bidding for the 23-year-old ‘Twilight’ star’s costumes on the website icollector.com at 11am on Saturday (13.03.10).

His ‘Remember Me’ co-stars have also donated outfits for the charitable cause.

Actress Emilie de Ravin – who plays his love interest in the movie – has a pair of her denim shorts up for offer and Pierce Brosnan has donated an expensive grey suit.

Costumes from other hit movies such as ‘The Blind Side’ and ‘Leap Year’ are also up for grabs.
