Zac Posen Fall 2010 Fashion ShowZac Posen kicked off the celebrations at 9am, with a collection he called ‘40s futurism’.

Unusually for Posen, there were no floor-trailing red carpet gowns. The dresses were all extremely structured and leg-friendly; short, sharp and fitted, or flaring out from the hip, ra-ra style.

Silk brocade and stretch-satin, were seamed and shirred, into taut, body-con shapes, often with a “wing” of fabric at shoulder or hem.
