Lara Stone’s Prada Role

Lara Stone has become the new face of Prada’s Infusion d’Irisfragrance perfume.
The Dutch model will join Sasha Pivovarova – who has fronted the scent since its 2007 launch – in the latest campaign, quashing rumours she was set to replace her.
While Lara will be the face of Prada’s new Eau de Toilette, Sasha’s image will still be used to advertise the Eau de Parfum version of the scent.

New collaboration between Madonna and Dolce & Gabbana…
MDG is a new special collection of sunglasses for women, designed by Madonna and Dolce & Gabbana.
The photoshoot by Steven Klein will be featured in the campaign, which will be out very soon and will carry on until February 2011. A TV ad might also be used .

Actress PENELOPE CRUZ has commissioned MICK JAGGER’s designer girlfriend L’WREN SCOTT to create her wedding gown, according to U.S. reports.
The Spanish actress has turned to the Utah-born fashion queen, who has created one-of-a-kind designs for Nicole Kidman and Madonna, to design a fairytale dress for her.

Tough-looking, hardworking work boots have been the default off-duty footwear for the hip, young, Agyness Deyn set for the past few seasons, and none more so than the iconic Dr Martens, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
The daddy of all work boots, “DMs” were first developed in Germany by Klaus Martens, and made in Northampton, in the UK, in 1960.

Madonna, Macy’s sign deal for ‘Material Girl’ collection

Macy’s Inc. has teamed with MG ICON, a joint venture between singer Madonna and Iconix Brand Group, on a collection of apparel and accessories for juniors.
The “Material Girl” collection will include back-to-school clothing, footwear, handbags and jewelry, according to a news release. It will eventually include fragrances and other products.
