Zoe Saldana honoured by MaxMara

Zoe Saldana, the beautiful “blue” star of Avatar, has been named as the “Face of the Future” by the leading Italian luxury brand, MaxMara.
Ms Saldana will be the front row guest-of-honour at the presentation of MaxMara’s autumn/winter 2010/2011 collection at Milan Fashion Week on Saturday, February 27th.
Later this year, she will receive an award at the Women in Film Crystal & Lucy gala, sponsored by MaxMara, in Los Angeles, in June.
Sienna Miller and Tamara Mellon’s T-shirts for charity

Fresh from joining forces with supermodel, Natalia Vodianova, to host the starry, fund-raising Love Ball, Harper’s Bazaar editor, Lucy Yeomans, has persuaded some key British designers to create a range of stylish T-shirts in aid of the Women for Women International charity.
The 11-piece “Women for Women” collection includes designs by veterans Nicole Farhi, Betty Jackson and Amanda Wakeley; actress Sienna Miller, who showed her and her sister, Savannah’s label, Twenty8Twelve, last Sunday at London Fashion Week; and new design sensation, Holly Fulton, renowned for her prints. Todd Lynn and Janet Jackson’s stylish connection

The rock’n’roll tailor, Todd Lynn, has developed an impressive music business clientele since he set up his own label in 2006, including Mick Jagger and Bono.
His latest working relationship is with Janet Jackson. He designed most of the clothes for her last video, and she in return flew over to London Fashion Week especially to sit in the front row of his show on Sunday.

Runway Reviews: Pringle of Scotland

Pringle of Scotland boasted the most motley crew of attendees of London Fashion Week. Along with a slew of major EICs, Janet Jackson, Tilda Swinton, Courtney Love, and Phil Collins progeny-cum-starlet Lily Collins sat front row at the Serpentine Gallery.
Luckily, the V IPs in attendance weren’t the most notable things about the presentation. Creative director Clare Wright Keller sent out a modern mix of looks that stayed true to the brand’s background as a knitwear company.
