Iman Home is the model’s latest project that will be launching at Mercedes-Benz Fashion week. She’s giving a preview of her creation, and working with design consultant Carlos Mota to decorate the lounge at Lincoln Center.
This year Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2011 kicked off the show with an opening party by Trina Turk on the 15th, followed by four days of Fashion and Style featuring collections from White Sands Australia, Beach Bunny Swimwear, Dolores Cortes, Swell Suits Miami along with Naila and Park & Ronen, Ed Hardy Swimwear, Aqua di Lara, Red Carter, Cia Maritima, Luli Fama, Caffe Swimwear, Nicolita, Marysia Swim, Lisa Maree, Aquarella Swimwear, Lisa Blue KooeySwimwear Australiaand Tyler Rose.

Barbie’s new collection has a distinctively Aussie look, with some of the 12 new mini models inspired by Australian beauties.

On Thursday morning, executives from IMG Fashion, which owns Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week; Lincoln Center; the Council of Fashion Designers of America; Mercedes-Benz and, the City of New York unveiled details of the new tents, which will be inaugurated during the spring 2011 collections from Sept. 9 to 16.
Guests will enter the tented lobby through a new facade created by architectural firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro. The entrance and facade, which is 60 feet wide and 70 feet high, will be located in the corner between the Metropolitan Opera House and David H. Koch Theater. The lobby will feature sponsorship areas, digital signage and seating areas for visitors.
