Mariah Carey’s sugary trio of Elizabeth Arden fragrances

Mariah Carey’s new perfume was inspired by her husband Nick Cannon. She said: “The inspiration for Lollipop Bling was Nick’s marriage proposal to me. He first surprised me with a ring-pop – romantic, fun and young-at-heart – like me!”
The three fragrances, launching next month, are named after Carey’s songs “Ribbon,” “Honey” and “Mine Again”. Starting July 1st, you can get a whiff of the Topp’s candy Elizabeth Arden perfume collaboration at at Macy’s and Dillards. A one-ounce bottle of the perfume will retail for $35.

Elizabeth Taylor Violet Eyes perfume review

Violet Eyes, the new perfume by Elizabeth Taylor created in collaboration with Elizabeth Arden opens on an absolutely lovely violet and vanilla accord, with undertones of exotic fruits and some amber and woods. The perfume makes me think most of the vanillic softness of Hervé Léger – a hidden gem – but I am sure that the delicious vanilla peach skin of Hanae Mori will also come to mind easily. On a more intellectual level and towards the very end of the drydown, I am reminded of the wonderful vanilla and vetiver accord of Habanita by Molinard.

Elizabeth Arden to sell John Varvatos fragrances

Men’s fashion designer John Varvatos is switching fragrance houses, leaving his relationship with Japan’s Shiseido to enter a new licensing agreement with Elizabeth Arden Inc.
The agreement between Elizabeth Arden and John Varvatos Apparel Corp includes the development, marketing and distribution of men’s and women’s fragrances.
Fragrances already on the market include the John Varvatos classic fragrance, launched in 2004, along with John Varvatos Vintage, John Varvatos Artisan and a women’s fragrance. Those items, costing about $57 to $92 per bottle, are sold mainly in upscale U.S. department stores and some international markets.
