Gisele Bundchen is world’s highest paid model

Gisele Bundchen has been named world’s highest paid model for the second consecutive year by Forbes magazine. The 29-year-old Brazilian supermodel beats the likes of Heidi Klum and Kate Moss, with the total earning of USD 25 million last year.
Klum, 36 and mother of four and host of the television show “Project Runway”, came in second with USD 16 million in earnings, followed by style icon Moss, who made USD 9 million, through her modelling campaigns, clothing range for Topshop, and perfume.
Doutzen Kroes: Fighting Unhealthy Model Practices

Joining the fight against unhealthiness in the modeling world, Doutzen Kroes is among those joining the Council of Fashion Designers of America to criticize current practices.
“I don’t do runway shows because I don’t fit the sample size,” Kroes said. “I might have fit when I was 11 or 12.”
Pointing the finger at agents and designers, Doutzen continues, “When you are so young and you get the pressure to lose weight, you’ll do it because you’re too young to make up your mind, to make the right decision. That’s why we have to change the age.”
