The Christian Dior Fall 2010 Couture collection was a veritable bouquet of creativity. The show recalled the ‘Tulip line’ designed by Christian Dior in 1953.
The flower show was fantastic. John Galliano transformed his models into walking tulips, tigerlillies and orchids. The colors for the collection were vibrant and captivating, featuring the whole color spectrum from cherry red to pale violet.

John Galliano awarded French Legion of Honour

At a ceremony at the historic Elysée Palace in Paris, French president Nicolas Sarkozy awarded John Galliano the prestigious Legion of Honor award, with a ranking of Chevalier (Knight), according to WWD. The ceremony took place on Wednesday 23rd June.

Christian Dior Golden Contact Lenses

Christian Dior is taking things to a new level with these branded contact lenses, which have a swipe of gold on the surface as well as a tiny CD logo.
The coloured contacts come in two colours: golden and black. The colours only covers around the iris, but what’s special about them is that they showcase the famous “CD” logo. The logo does not only provide the branding of the contacts, but it also helps shows whether the lens is the right side up.

Natalie Portman the face of Parfums Christian Dior

Israeli-American actress Natalie Portman has been named as the new face face of Parfums Christian Dior.
The 28-year-old has signed a deal with the French fashion house to front a new campaign and will be representing a fragrance and cosmetics brand for the first time, reports WWD.
