Dior Is Unlikely To Name John Galliano’s Successor Until Fall

French fashion house Christian Dior is in no hurry to replace designer John Galliano as it relies on existing teams for new collections. Apparently, Dior is unlikely to announce the new designer helming the label until fall.

‘It requires a period of study of various projects. As our internal teams are working perfectly well, we have time.’ Toledano said the brand’s teams were working on a new cruise collection and that there would be a Dior haute couture show in early July as planned.

A new ad for the Miss Dior Cherie fragrance has premiered online, directed by Sofia Coppola and starring “brand ambassador” Natalie Portman.

The spot uses the song “Je T’aime Moi Non Plus” by Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin .

The new campaign, which was announced back in December 2010, includes a series of prints as well as a TV advert to be officially launched in March.

Natalie Portman is the new face for Miss Dior Chérie fragrance. The 29-year-old Black Swan actress goes topless in the new ad for Miss Dior Cherie perfume.

The print ads were shot by Tim Walker, while the TV campaign will be made by Sofia Coppola. The series print ads and the TV campaign will come out in March 2011.

Dior just announced that Natalie Portman, who was named the new face of their fragrances back in June, will star in the forthcoming Miss Dior Cherie campaign, which is slated to hit TV and print this coming March.

She’s already been photographed by Tim Walker for the upcoming campaign, and she’s also set to star in TV ads for the perfume that have been directed by Sofia Coppola.

Dior Homme iPad Case

The House of Dior unveiled a new Apple iPad Case which is scheduled to release anytime soon. The case comes in book format and will be available in two material options – black tie leather or classic coated canvas. One side of the case is a notepad, the other one holds the iPad.

Priced around US $895, the case will be available soon in select Dior Homme boutiques and has been designed to fit Apple’s iPad perfectly.

Sofia Coppola is Directing New Dior Advert. The main role in a new advertising product performed actress Natalie Portman – the new face of the house Dior. After the Maryna Linchuk, the American actress is next in line to embody the fresh and youthful image of the iconic fragrance.

Natalie was spotted filming a Dior ad at the Parc Monceau in Paris last week.
