Diane von Furstenberg will unveil her first interior design project

Legendary fashion designer and world traveler Diane von Furstenberg is bringing her bold, graphic prints to guestrooms at Claridge’s, the five-star London hotel she’s checked into for some 30 years, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Claridge’s and von Furstenberg have enjoyed an intimate relationship since the 1970s and some of her past collections have even been inspired by the renowned hotel.

Anna Wintour Offers Up a Vogue Internship for Auction

Charitybuzz posted yet another magazine internship auction, but this one’s a doozy: A week-long stint at Vogue, two tickets to fashion week, and the chance to meet Anna.
Proceeds from the Vogue auction will benefit the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights, a powerhouse organization that has done tremendous work for the post-earthquake recovery efforts in Haiti, among several other initiatives worldwide. Wintour is the latest bold-face name to join fundraising efforts — Diane von Furstenberg also donated an internship (that one’s a month long) and Tim Gunn is offering up lunch with him at Bryant Park Grill.
Diane von Furstenburg Celebrates International Women’s Day

After Dior and Christie’s celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th, Diane von Furstenburg stepped up to the plate and threw her own bash on Saturday at the United Nations. Meryl Streep, Christiane Amanpour, and Tina Brown helped her recognize strong female figures and distributed some brand-spankin’ new DVF Awards, and von Furstenberg assured everyone she still loves men.
Diane von Furstenberg To Design Hotel Rooms

While some designers won’t rest until there’s a hotel with their name splayed on the front, Diane von Furstenberg is happy to remodel a few rooms in one of the most prestigious hotels in the world.
Starting in June 2010, guests at Claridge’s in London–a favorite of Kate Moss, Justin Timberlake and the late Alexander McQueen–will be able to stay in a series of rooms and suites designed by the reigning queen of the New York fashion scene.
