Everyone’s favourite designer, Karl Lagerfeld, is in New York this week to shoot Chanel’s A/W 2010 campaign – and here’s a first look at what you can expect.
The designer stepped into an oh-so-glamorous cherry picker and braved towering heights to shoot current muse Freja Beha Erichsen and Abbey Lee Kershaw for next season’s Chanel campaign. The duo posed on the fire escape of one of the city’s brownstone buildings sporting highlights from next season’s faux-fur-lined, arctic themed collection.
Claudia: McQueen was fashion genius

Claudia Schiffer has hailed the late Alexander McQueen as a “genius of fashion” whose clothes were edgy but flattering to the female body.
The pregnant supermodel was honoured at the Elle Style Awards 2010, where she was named Model Of The Year.
Claudia said of the late designer: “I think he will be remembered as one of the geniuses of fashion, but also as someone who has been very cutting edge and innovative and also loved women.”
