Chanel Introduces a Line of Temporary Tattoos

In honor of the newly redesigned Chanel.com, the French design house is introducing Les Trompe l’Oeil Temporary Skin Art. The graphic adornments, created by Global Creative Director Peter Philips, were first seen in the Chanel Spring-Summer 2010 runway presentation.
“For the show, I wanted to play with the Chanel symbols: pearls, chains and wheat, as well as blossoms and small swallows that announce the arrival of spring,” Philips says.
Scorsese Directs Chanel TV Campaign

Academy Award-winning director Martin Scorsese has been enlisted to film a set of TV commercials for Chanel’s upcoming men’s fragrance, WWD reports. The ads will feature French actor Gaspard Ulliel and will air worldwide in September.
Chanel declined to give the specifics–including even the name of the new scent–but president of Chanel Fragrance and Beaute Andrea D’Avack did say the ads were filmed in NYC.
Kate Bosworth: Rouge Coco de Chanel Dinner!

Kate Bosworth attends a special dinner for Chanel’s new lipstick Rouge Coco de Chanel at The Mark Hotel on Tuesday night (February 9) in New York City.
The 27-year-old actress came out to support French songstress Vanessa Paradis (the longtime love of Johnny Depp), who’s the new face of Rouge Coco de Chanel.
Chanel said that Vanessa was chosen due to her “modern elegance, boldness of character and power of emotion.”
