Agyness’s sister turns fashion designer

Agyness Deyn’s younger sister, Emily Deyn, has turned designer for Uniqlo. The artist has created a range of tanks and T-shirts featuring Polaroid photos of her famous sis and favourite activities, which will go on sale this Friday, 30 April 2010.
Emily first sprang to notice when she designed a T-shirt, featuring the Queen, with her friend Aliyah Hussain last year. When Agy was spotted backstage at New York Fashion Week wearing the tee, it seems everyone wanted one.

Ditching the long tumbling locks that became her signature as she shot to fame as Heroes’ Claire, the actress debuted a nape-grazing slicked-back new look, as she attended an Earth Day benefit in LA.

Dr Martens celebrates 50th anniversary

Tough-looking, hardworking work boots have been the default off-duty footwear for the hip, young, Agyness Deyn set for the past few seasons, and none more so than the iconic Dr Martens, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
The daddy of all work boots, “DMs” were first developed in Germany by Klaus Martens, and made in Northampton, in the UK, in 1960.

The British super is teaming up with Barneys Japan for a capsule collection of eco-friendly clothing.
News of this venture – which follows her recent foray into acting – has been kept on the low-down until now and, frankly, comes as quite the surprise.
Apparently Agy has helped create an 11-piece strong collection for Barneys Japan, which will see dresses, T-shirts, knits, leggings and scarves hit the shelves in the coming weeks.
