Naomi Campbell's London Haiti Relief Show Includes Tears For McQueenA slew of British celebs and supermodel royalty turned out for Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief Haiti show on the first day of British Fashion Week. Campbell also included a tribute to late designer Alexander McQueen.

The show was followed by an auction on the pieces presented, during which Kate Moss broke down in tears at the bidding for the McQueen dress she had modeled. This show came nearly a week after Campbell held an American-style version at New York Fashion Week. All proceeds will go to helping mothers and babies in Haiti.

London Fashion Week opensHarold Tillman, the chairman of the British Fashion Council, called for a minute’s silence in memory of the late Lee Alexander McQueen, at the opening of London Fashion Week, at Somerset House.

Mr Tillman said: ”His impact was extraordinary and he will be sorely missed.”

London Fashion Week has also put up a memorial wall for fashion press and buyers to leave messages for the much-loved designer.
