Twiggy Calls Designers Who Use Real Fur ‘Intolerably Cruel’

Some people aren’t so thrilled with fur making a comeback, including Twiggy, who has called designers’ actions “intolerably cruel,” the Daily Mail UK reports.
She said, “I am very sad that some designers are still using real fur when the fake alternatives are so effective and so easily obtainable,” and pointed to a new report from Animal Defenders International (ADI) that details “horrific conditions” at fur farms.

Angie Sanselmente Valencia is a stunning young lingerie model who, authorities believe, is also the leader of the one of the world’s largest drug gangs.
As the Telegraph reports, an international arrest warrant has been issued for 30-year-old Valencia, who is believed to be on the run in either Mexico or Argentina.

Claudia Schiffer has hailed the late Alexander McQueen as a “genius of fashion” whose clothes were edgy but flattering to the female body.
The pregnant supermodel was honoured at the Elle Style Awards 2010, where she was named Model Of The Year.
Claudia said of the late designer: “I think he will be remembered as one of the geniuses of fashion, but also as someone who has been very cutting edge and innovative and also loved women.”

Wearing a sexy jungle-print dress, the catwalk stunner ended up as one of the night’s big winners – as she won the Outstanding Contribution award.
Being handed the gong by the British Prime Minister’s wife Sarah Brown, Miss Campbell was chosen for her long tenure in the fashion industry and her charitable endeavors with The White Ribbon Alliance.
