This year Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2011 kicked off the show with an opening party by Trina Turk on the 15th, followed by four days of Fashion and Style featuring collections from White Sands Australia, Beach Bunny Swimwear, Dolores Cortes, Swell Suits Miami along with Naila and Park & Ronen, Ed Hardy Swimwear, Aqua di Lara, Red Carter, Cia Maritima, Luli Fama, Caffe Swimwear, Nicolita, Marysia Swim, Lisa Maree, Aquarella Swimwear, Lisa Blue KooeySwimwear Australiaand Tyler Rose.
Valentino Haute Couture Fall 2010

The Haute Couture by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli honours an innovative and unconventional femininity, defining the new vision of a woman. Designers named their Valentino Fall 2010 Couture collection “The Dark Side of First Love“.
Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2010 Haute Couture

Jean-Paul Gaultier presented his Haute Couture collection for the Jean-Paul Gaultier brand in Paris. Gaultier’s couture collection was relatively dark in color, and austere in silhouette. Retro style is one of the leitmotifs of Jean Paul Gaultier Fall-Winter 2010.
Givenchy Fall 2010 Haute Couture

The Givenchy Haute Couture Fall 2010 collection was presented in an intimate gathering and consisted of ten different looks. Riccardo Tisci, Creative Director for Givenchy has created beautiful inspirational garments. He claimed his inspiration was Frida Kahlo and her three obsessions: religion, sensuality, and, given the painter’s lifelong battle with spinal pain, the human anatomy, which is obvious with bone-like zippers and actual skulls appearing throughout.
Giorgio Armani Prive Couture Fall 2010

Italian designer Giorgio Armani presented his Fall 2010 Privé couture collection in Paris on Tuesday. More casual pieces were mostly biscuit, chocolate, and camel-hued suits, blazers, coats, and smart pencil skirts. For the final part of the show, bejeweled dresses in rich tones of gold and amber brought some glitz and glamour to the stage.
