Jean Paul Gaultier is the new president of the Jean Paul Gaultier group

Jean Paul Gaultier has been named president of the Jean Paul Gaultier Group. His company said Tuesday that he was replacing Veronique Gautier — who is no relation — who was appointed to the job in December 2008 and who headed Hermes perfumes.
Gaultier owns a 55% stake in the company, with the remaining 45% held by Hermes.
Jason Wu designs Madame Alexander dolls

Jason Wu, the fashion designer best known for creating first lady Michelle Obama’s inaugural gown first made a splash designing dolls, so its no surprise that he’s back in the dollhouse working on a collection for revered toy maker Madame Alexander.
He has introduced six dolls (two collections consisting of three dolls each), all donned from head to toe in couture fashion.

McCartney to design Team GB kit for 2012

Stella McCartney will work with Adidas for the 2012 Summer Olympics. According to WWD, Adidas has selected McCartney as creative director for the uniforms that British athletes will wear.
“As a British fashion designer it is an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be creative director of Team GB as the hosting nation of the London 2012 Olympic Games,” McCartney said.
