Olay cosmetics named Carrie Underwood their first-ever “North American Celebrity Ambassador,” as part of the brand’s “Challenge What’s Possible” campaign. In her new role with Olay, Carrie will also represent a line of skincare products for the brand. The campaign is scheduled to debut later this year.

“As a little girl I remember my mom always using the original Olay Beauty Fluid and encouraging my sisters and I to take care of our skin. I love that Olay has managed to change with the times, yet stay in touch with women of all ages who want affordable skin care products that do what they promise,” Underwood remarked in a statement Wednesday. “Olay is something that women trust, and I feel like people also have a connection with me and trust me because I can’t lie.”

Jessica Simpson attended the launch event for her Spring 2011 “Show Me Your Blues” Jeanswear collection at the Jessica Simpson Collection Showroom in New York City on Tuesday. Jessica was joined by her boyfriend Eric Johnson, sister Ashlee and her husband Pete Wentz as she launched the new line.

“I am so excited to share my new denim line with everyone!” Jessica tells People mag. “It is comfortable, affordable and trend-right. I am already wearing them and loving them!”

The Jessica Simpson Jeanswear Collection will offer five styles of jeans (including skinnies, flares and jeggings), available in multiple washes and all retailing for $49 to $69. Complementary tops and jackets will cost $29 to $79.

Natalie Imbruglia joins the celebrity fashion designer bandwagon, as she teams up with Australian fashion label Banjo & Matilda for a collection of knitwear.

All proceeds from the piece will go to the End Fistula Campaign which is a women’s health charity.

The knit piece, named Lucky, features a Four-leaf clover and was inspired by Imbruglia’s own life.

“The four-leaf clover is a powerful symbol to me, so much so that I have it tattooed on the inside of my wrist…My sister and I both have the design to remind us of not only one another, but also of how grateful we are to be living great lives” she recently said.

From every £299 of each sweater, a portion of $100 will be donated to charity.

Lily Allen recently opened a vintage clothing shop called Lucy in Disguise with her sister, Sarah Owen. The duo launched a pop-up boutique in Selfridges’ Wonder Room in London.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, Lucy in Disguise “has been designed in the vein of a ‘modern-day Biba,’ Allen’s publicist Liz Matthews said.”

While the pop up boutique is up and running at Selfridges now, Lily and sis will officially launch Lucy In Disguise in 2011.

The Kardashians have opened two boutiques called Dash. One in Florida and another in California. Kourtney Kardashian now wants to open one in New York.

“I would love to open a DASH [there]. That would be the next goal. New York exudes fashion. It is the  place for everything and anything fashion in America, so it is the next natural place to open a DASH.

I am hoping to make this dream come true — as if I don’t have enough going on already, especially being a new mom,” Kardashian tells Cupcake Mag.

Nokia has hired Pamela Anderson to promote the N8 and is offering you the chance to star alongside Pammy in a bedroom scene shot entirely on its new flagship smartphone.

A short film, entitled The Commuters, will be shot in London on September 20 using the Nokia N8 to shoot entirely using the phone’s HD video capabilities. Another cameo role opposite “Gossip Girl” actor Ed Westwick, to be shot in an elevator, is up for grabs in the contest.  The short feature will be directed by the McHenry Brothers.

Another celebrity is playing sexy aboard a bike, and this time it’s Keira Knightley, star of box office juggernauts like the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise. The 25-year-old British beauty shot a new Chanel advertisement.

She was spotted on the Paris streets last weekend filming the ad wearing a slinky, Chanel designed & made, leather jumpsuit. The suit, boots and helmet matched the color of the Ducati motorcycle.

Lady Gaga and Marc Jacobs make a huge splash on the New York issue of V magazine. Lady Gaga poses as the Statue of Liberty alongside Marc Jacobs, overlaid with a bubblegum interpretation of the iconic V by artist Dan Colen.

Matthew McConaughey is the face of the campaign for Dolce & Gabbana’s new men’s fragrance. The perfume is called The One Gentleman, and it debuts in October magazines. The 40-year-old actor worked with director Jean Baptiste Mondino to shoot the campaign.

McConaughey tells People about this new scent: “A gentleman has respect for himself, that is the basis of his respect and consideration for others. He has a strength and grace that translates into how he moves, how he makes a decision, or even how he holds himself still and says nothing at all.”
