Mattel has created a bald Barbie after a Facebook campaign asked the toy company to make a hairless version of the doll for children dealing with cancer treatments, alopecia or trichotillomania. According to Womansday.au, the campaign for the “Bald and Beautiful Barbie” was started in January by Jane Bingham and Rebecca Sypin, both of whom have daughters who lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
