Bulgari Launches Matthew Williamson Handbag Collection

Bulgari’s new capsule collection of handbags designed by Matthew Williamson for the 2011 Spring-Summer season debuted at a launch party during Milan Fashion Week at the Bulgari Hotel.
“I was actually very kindly asked by Bulgari to collaborate, and I could never say no to such legendary brand,” said Williamson. “I wanted to really fuse Bulgari’s historical references and the jewels with my own bohemian sensibilities. It was important for me to bring those two DNAs together.”

Ella Marciano, the 16-year-old daughter of CEO and vice chairman Paul Marciano, has designed a t-shirt to benefit Sojourn Services for Battered Women and Their Children.
“I started thinking about words that were powerful, that could send a message,” Ella told WWD, “All the words are shaped like a heart, which is the symbol of love, which I think is great. At the same time, the design had to appeal to the Guess girl… Even if someone doesn’t know this cause, they’d buy this shirt because it’s an attractive shirt.”

Roberto Cavalli celebrating his brand’s 40th anniversary with his roaring runway show in Milan. Natalia Vodianova, Laetitia Casta, Erin Wasson marched down the runway in bold animalier prints, fringes, daring chiffon gowns, and alligator jackets. The collection was inspired by the 1970′s hippie Los Angeles girl that hung out with rockstars.

The Pink Pony Fund is a charitable foundation by Ralph Lauren that fund’s cancer research. As a special treat, five very limited edition watches have been created to help the charity.
