Robert Pattinson Inspiration For Marks & Spencer Underwear Line
Robert Pattinson has been named by Marks & Spencer as the inspiration for their new line of men’s underwear. The British department store is set to launch its slim-fit “R-Pant” collection in the fall.
The range of low rise briefs and trunks are designed to be worn under skinny fit jeans and trousers, a look popularised by celebrities like Russell Brand and Mark Ronson who have also been named as inspirations for the design.
“Over the last three years we’ve seen an increase in the popularity of hipsters. The new range is designed to appeal to a younger, fashion-savvy customer,” stated Richard Beale, head of merchandising at M&S.
Pattinson will not star in an advertising campaign for M&S.
