Isabella Rossellini to Design for Bulgari

Bulgari is helping Isabella Rossellini dip into the accessories world by having her design a bag for the Roman jeweler with the support of its in-house design team.
“My connection with Bulgari dates back to when I was a child and I’d accompany my mother [the legendary Ingrid Bergman] to the historic shop in Via Condotti in Rome,” Rossellini explained. “She loved Bulgari jewels.”
Available in four colors and several materials, the elegant bag, which features twist locks made of semi-precious stones, is a nod to the glamorous golden years of 1960s Rome.
The Rossellini bag will be unveiled on July 7 during haute couture week at Bulgari’s Rome flagship store.
