2010 CFDA Fashion Awards: Fashion and Winners

CFDA’s Annual Awards Ceremony often called ‘the Oscars of fashion‘ held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center was magnificent. Lot of stylish celebrities, designers, models graced CFDA Fashion Awards 2010 with their presence.

International Designer of the Year – Burberry chief creative officer Christopher Bailey
Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award – Michael Kors
Fashion Icon of the Year – Iman
Womenswear Designer of the Year – Marc Jacobs
Menswear Designer of the Year – David Neville and Marcus Wainwright for Rag & Bone
Accessory Designer of the Year – Alexis Bittar
Swarovski Award for Womenswear – Jason Wu
Swarovski Award for Menswear – Richard Chai
Swarovski Award for Accessory Design – Alexander Wang
Popular Vote – Ralph Lauren

Highlight of event  was tribute paid to the late Alexander Mcqueen by Sarah Jessica Parker, followed by presentation of Alexander Mcqueen final collection.
