Two Alexander McQueen dresses are being sold at auctionThe items – taken from the late designer’s Autumn/Winter 2007 ready-to-wear collection – consist of a floor-length gold number and a cream gown with peacock feather bustier.

The auction will take place at Bonhams, Knightsbridge, in London on June 30 with the gold dress expected to fetch as much as £18,000, while the cream piece is estimated to take £14,000.

McQueen’s collection was based on a distant relative who had been convicted of being a witch in 1692 and models in the show walked down a Ouija board while projections of grim scenes of death and crawling animals was played.
