FIFA commissioned Louis Vuitton to design a special case to accommodate the trophy. The handmade case consists of 18 carat gold with a base of semi precious malachite. It measures 36cm in height, is fitted with Louis Vuitton’s brass lock and corners, and features the company’s iconic monogrammed canvas.
