Alex Munroe Jewellery Auction for Fight for Sight

Alex Munroe Jewellery Auction for Fight for SightAlex Munroe, the coveted jewellery designer, is auctioning 18 carat gold bicycle pendants for the charity Fight for Sight. The pieces are handmade by Alex Munroe himself and have moving wheels.

The designer will also be taking part in a bike ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise money for the charity, which funds research into the causes of blindness. Alex suffered from uveitis himself and so will be biking the 1000 mile route alongside Scientist John Greenwood and Actor Lloyd Hutchinson.

Agyness’s sister turns fashion designerAgyness Deyn’s  younger sister, Emily Deyn, has turned designer for Uniqlo. The artist has created a range of tanks and T-shirts featuring Polaroid photos of her famous sis and favourite activities, which will go on sale this Friday, 30 April 2010.

Emily first sprang to notice when she designed a T-shirt, featuring the Queen, with her friend Aliyah Hussain last year. When Agy was spotted backstage at New York Fashion Week wearing the tee, it seems everyone wanted one.
