Star Totes Charity Project
In celebration of Coach’s first flagship store opening in Shanghai, China, Coach launched the Star Totes Charity Project. What’s interesting about Star Totes is that it is an online philanthropic campaign in which celebrites from around the world designed one of a kind Coach totes. Celebrity designing totes for Coach includes Jessica Alba, Lucy Liu, Eva Longoria, Julianne Moore, Charlize Theron, Jackie Chan, Gigi Leung, Chin Ling Lin, Dee Hsu, Karen Mok.
Monies raised will go to the Jackie Chan Almsdeed Foundation.
Over 50 of the specially designed totes will be auctioned online starting on May 13, 2010. Select Coach stores all over China from Shanghai, Harbin, Shenyang , Nanjing, Chengdu and Hong Kong will showcase the totes in store.
Shoppers can participate by bidding for the bag designed by their favourite celebrities.
